1. What is The Phoenix? The Phoenix is a restaurant and banquet facility located in downtown Cincinnati. We are open to the public and we are not a private club. The 109 year old historic building houses 6 private rooms for your special event - rehearsal dinners, weddings, holiday parties, bar and bat mitzvahs, company dinners are examples of frequently hosted functions at The Phoenix. Our public restaurant is located on the 1st floor of the historic building and is open for dinner Wednesday - Saturday evenings. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 513-721-8901.
2. Does The Phoenix cater? Yes. The Phoenix will cater for group sizes ranging from 10 - 1000. We can cater on site at our property, or off site, at Music Hall, Taft Museum, The Aronoff Center, Peterloon, local parks, or in your home or office. We will tailor a menu to your individual taste and budget. 3. Does The Phoenix provide Handicap accessibility? Yes. Our building is located on the corner of 9th and Race Street and our 9th street entrance has an elevator.
4. Is there parking nearby? Yes. We offer valet parking to our restaurant patrons at the 9th St. entrance on the evenings that the restaurant is open. There is also a public parking garage located next door to our facility, on 9th Street. Your sales representative can assist you in making valet parking arrangements for your guests for a private function.
5. Do you have guest rooms? No. The Phoenix is not a hotel, however we are centrally located in the heart of downtown Cincinnati and we are within walking distance of all of the major hotels. We highly recommend The Cincinnatian Hotel. It is located 2 blocks south of The Phoenix and has first class accommodations. For more information on The Cincinnatian go to www.cincinnatianhotel.com.
6. Do you provide audio visual equipment for events? The Phoenix works closely with one of Cincinnati's leading audio visual companies, Prestige Audio Visual. Prestige will provide you with state of the art technology and your requirements can be arranged through your sales representative at The Phoenix or you can work directly with Prestige. 7. Do you cater Kosher events? Yes. The Phoenix has and continues to host Kosher events in our facility or in any Kosher kitchen. We are happy to customize a menu for you and, though there may be certain limitations due to Kosher restrictions, we will do our best to tailor the function to your specific needs and requirements.
